North 45 Pub

The North 45 Private Dinner Series continues with our Summer Harvest Dinner on Tuesday, August 31st starting at 7pm. This is a four course dinner inspired by the amazing local foods available to us in Portland during the summer. Each course is paired with cocktails from a local distillery. Tickets are $65. 1st course: Smoked salmon mini tostadas with citrus aioli and micro-greens. Paired with Clear Creek Pear Brandy

2nd course: Grilled venison filet with wilted chard and wild Oregon mushroom béarnaise. Paired with No. 3 Gin from New Deal Distillery

3rd course: Summer squash stuffed with pink shrimp, Oregonzola, and toasted hazelnuts, with Marionberry creme fraiche. Paired with Mud Puddle Chocolate Vodka

4th course: Family style local fruit and cheeses platters. Paired with a selection of liqueurs from Clear Creek Distillery

Our flat screen will have all 3300 kilometers of the 2010 Tour De France showing in the pub this July. If you like France & cyclists, or you want to be around people who like France & cyclists, stop in for a bite and pint. Be sure to ask the bar manager, Leslie, about the North 45 Yellow Jersey. The Tour runs from July 3rd-July 25th.

Chef Buddy will be firing up the N45 Traeger every Sunday starting June 6/12 for our Sunday Summer BBQ. Our 2500 sqft private patio is a great setting for enjoying a lazy outdoor Sunday, sipping drinks, & tasting Chef Buddy’s “BrewHog” pork ribs. Summer BBQ hours are 2:30pm-9pm every Sunday.

Our private dinner series continues with a Don Julio dinner on our back patio. Tickets are $60 and can be purchased at the bar. You can also email Josh to make your reservation. Guests will get to sample all tequilas neat in addition to the preset cocktails.

Scallop ceviche with black pepper tortilla chips and jicama chips
Paired w/ a Don Julio Silver hibiscus cosmopolitan

Second course:
Chicken flautas w/ mole, dried fruit chimichurrri, and crispy parsnips
Paired w/ a Don Julio Reposado cilantro margarita

Third course:
Bronzed salmon w/ sweet corn polenta cakes in a vanilla beurre blanc
Paired w/ a Don Julio Anejo Mexican coffee

Fourth course:
Agave nectar flan w/ candied hazelnuts and tequila whipped cream
Paired w/ Don Julio 1942
