Another spirited, warm and inviting door has opened amongst the profusion of artsy boutiques, shops and cafes in one of Portland’s favorite neighborhoods. North 45 lures you in with tastes, sights and sounds from around our world and genuinely happy faces welcoming you in to theirs.

The proprietors of North 45, two travel mates who have very different and eclectic life stories but have come together to bring Portland their very own upscale travel pub. The idea was born while backpacking through South America together in 2005. “We wanted to incorporate the intimacy and social elements of a pub, without labeling ourselves as an Irish or English pub. We figured a travel themed pub is something that everybody can relate to and/or be the source of inspiration.”

North 45, inspired by the pub’s GPS location on the 45th parallel, is the hot spot to meet your neighbor or people watch with your friends while sipping one of the seasoned bartender’s specialties. It is also the place for a candle lighted dinner for two over one of the eight differently prepared mussels and pommes frites dishes. To drink? Choose from over 100 whiskeys, a rotating wine list, or maybe a Trappist Belgian beer for our extensive Belgian beer menu.
