North 45 Pub

North 45 will be making a return appearance at the 2008 Bite of Oregon. The Bite of Oregon, benefiting the Special Olympics, is all day August 8th, 9th, and 10th. We’ll be showcasing Beer Steamed Mussels, Chipotle Apple BBQ Jumbo Shrimp, and Fire Grilled Filet Mignon with a Balsamic Pear Reduction. We work hard and play harder, so if you want to come down and volunteer for a good cause in our booth, contact Josh at 503-314-8559. Otherwise, be sure to come down and check it out!

North 45 has entered a team into Red Bull’s 2008 Flugtag. Our team name is Pink Viking. We’ve constructed a hug Pink Viking war ship that will be flying off a 30ft. ramp at Tom McCall Waterfront Park Saturday, August 2nd at 12 noon. We are looking for enthusiastic people to become Viking Clan members and join us on the waterfront to have some fun and cheer us on. You can get your official Pink Viking t-shirt in the pub. Our goal is to get 100+ people cheering us on with our war drums and rowdy crowd. Contact Josh for more info.

Join us Monday (6/14) at 8pm for a Belgian Beer tasting hosted by Martin Gredvig. Martin has visited most of the great European breweries and is one of the best “beer geeks” we know. This is a great event for varsity beer drinkers as well as people new to Belgian beers. $25 gets you 6-7 samples plus light appetizers. No reservations required. Just show up.
