4th of July BBQ

fireworks.jpgWe here at North 45 love BBQ and big, loud fireworks. We can’t endorse the fireworks on our property, but our chef Bart can sure throw together a mean BBQ. Join us all day Friday July 4th for our BBQ. The pub will open at 12pm and we’ll have Bart’s famous ribs, chicken, corn, beans, and a couple other special treats available for the whole family.

Tour de France 2008

bikers.jpgNorth 45 has decided to become a biker bar. We’d figure we’d do it in a very Oregonian way and replace leather and Harley’s with spandex and 10-speeds. We’ll be showing the Tour de France 2008 starting Saturday, July 5th to Sunday, July 27th. The 95th Tour de France will be made up of 21 stages and will cover a total distance of 3,500 kilometres. We’re not sure how many miles that is, but we figure one pint of beer per mile should be a good gesture of support. Come down and check out the action.

European Football Final Sunday 6/29 @ 11am

valderama.jpg North 45 will be showing the UEFA Final this Sunday, June 29th. The pub opens at 11am and kick-off is 11:45am. It’s been an amazing year in futbol and this final is one not to be missed. (We couldn’t resist this classic shot of Valderama aka “The Lion”.) Come down, have a pint and support your club.

Carlton Winemaker’s Dinner, Wednesday June 25th

winepour.jpgNorth 45’s very own Bart Smith will be guest chef at Carlton Winemaker Studio’s upcoming wine dinner on June 25th. Bart will be pairing his menu to Dominio IV Wines. Cost is $30 per person for a three course meal. Include the Wine Pairing with each course for $22. Click here to view the full menu.
