North 45 Pub

Come celebrate Mardi Gras at North 45 Pub. We’ll be starting the day at 4:00pm with a special appearance from Colum Egan, Bushmills Master Distiller. Bushmills Distillery is celebrating their 400th Year Anniversary! Colum is only in Portland for a day and North 45 is on the short list of pubs to visit. So come down and sample their anniversary whiskey, 1608, chat with Colum and get familiar with the whiskey we’ll be drinking on St Paddy’s Day!!.Chef Bart Smith will be dishing out Jambalaya, Cajun Mac & Cheese, and New Orleans Style Cajun Shrimp specials. Bartender specials include the famous Sazarac cocktail and the infamous Hurricane. We’ll also be entertained by the southern sounds of Paul Vorvick on electric guitar and Scotty Peterson on hamonica. Food & drinks start at 4pm, music starts at 7pm.

North 45 will be opening at 12 noon on SuperBowl Sunday (February 3rd). We’ll have all the appropriate specials including gourmet nachos, hot wings, and Sliders (mini-cheeseburgers). Bring some cash so you get participate in our “Points Pool”. Oh ya, if you’re brave enough to wear a real football helmet in for the game, we’ll buy you a beer:)

How many first and last Thursday’s can this town have? We’ll this month, “Last Tuesday” involves beer. Really good beer. Make sure to put Tuesday, August 26th on your calendar as we’ll be hosting the brewmaster from Bridgeport Brewery to tap into a limited release of a very “Big Brew”…Bridgeport’s Hop Czar IPA. This IPA comes in at 100 IBU’s so get ready!! If you’ve never had fresh, firkin beer, now is your chance. The brewmaster will be cutting into the firkin at 6:00pm.

Happy New Year everyone. North 45 Pub has committed to collecting 1,000 pounds of canned food for the Oregon Food Bank. Please remember to bring a couple cans with you next time you come down for a pint. We only have a couple weeks left to hit our goal. Thanks for your support.
